As a designer/artist in residence.
Arles is a city in the South of France with a long and rich history. The city centre, where, among other things, numerous buildings from the Roman period can be found, is protected. Not only in terms of architecture and structure, but also in terms of the colours.

Noud Sleumer conducted an inventory study of these colours for Luma Foundation Arles, now housed in a beautiful museum. He spent some time in residence for this. The results were ultimately brought together in a colour fan. A second fan also brought together the colours that people mainly use on their roof terraces, where they do have the freedom of choice.
The study and the colour fans were presented in the museum and are used to provide other designers and artists in residence there with some background and inspiration on the history of the city.
